The words, unwritten.

'Have something to say?' Says my little writing app.  That feels a little aggressive and in all honesty I'm not sure I do. I want to write something and I want people to feel moved to read it. It's a thin starting point I suppose but it does leave me free to write about anything. Admittedly, I have this dream of writing a great science fiction novel and stepping into the shoes of Iain M Banks, a man whose passing saddened me greatly. It's not that I grieved him, I would no more have expected him to grieve me, I was saddened because of the work he would have done, the words he didn't get to write and, most selfishly, that I didn't get to read. So that's the way I want write. Here's to small ambitions!
